Servant of the Year:

The Oscar C. Page Servant of the Year award is a highly competitive award given out annually at the Student Affairs Banquet. It is awarded to the Austin College student who exemplifies a self-motivated willingness to perform community service throughout the year and is dedicated to helping others and the community. Students are nominated by other members of the Austin College community. A selection committee  comprised of students, a faculty member, and a staff member select the Servant of the Year based on the nominations that are submitted to be reviewed. In 2009, this award was re-named after Austin College president Oscar C. Page to honor his commitment to service and the many ways that he encouraged and inspired students to give back to the community.
