Thrift Store Drive

At the end of each academic year, the majority of the Austin College students that live on campus are faced with having to throw away useful belongings that won’t fit on the travel back home. Every year the Service Station works with a different thrift store, to help collect and donate these items to places such as Goodwill or the Crisis Center. Numerous barrels are placed in facilities around campus to collect these items that the students may not have a use for anymore. This is a way for Austin College students to give back to the community and show that one person's junk may be another person's treasure.

Thrift Store Drive 2014

This year we will be donating gently used goods starting the week of spring finals and lasting through graduation. The donations will go to benefit women in Crisis Centers. Bring unopened food items to the Service Station.
